I saw your beautiful artwork in Siraj Cafe, in the new expansion. Alhamd'Allah they are not going to have argela! It will be more comfortable for me to attend because you don't have that negative image of what argela entails.
I talked to the owner of having a Open Mic session and he mentioned he doesn't want to bring controversial speech to his business.
Do you have anything in mind about what else can be done for entertainment, besides the music ensamble...
Sure. How about a book club? Or bringing a personality with a topic to have an open discussion, perhaps in art, literature, caligraphy...
I told him to lure college students in. He has the setting and decor complete, he just needs to have the word out.
BTW, have you visted the ICA and saw the new calligraphy done in the masjid. I forgot the artist's name, but Insh'Allah he can be brought to Siraj and begin the discussion with him.
Let Imad know. Maybe it could be titled, "Artist of the Evening" ooo oooo do it in 3rabe "Sahra m3 fanaan." lol don't laugh at me, I don't know how to word it correctly in arabic.
Anyways, I'm sure you are aware of DIWAN at the AANM, there are ideas to come up with.
ok, who is laayla? I'm sure we can discuss a schedule. IBJ if you got info send it along. Laayla, send me an e-mail or something, eh? And what about Diwan?

I just live in the community and my family and I are customers. We have friendly service and we always have a nice brother who comes to our table to make sure everything is okay.
I have recommended friends and family to go to the cafe, something I don't do with any other resturant. It's because the service is great and friendly.
DIWAN is not my idea, it is from what I attended at the AANM in previous years.
